Right To Education

Education is the key that will allow many other Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved. When people are able to get the quality education they can break the cycle of poverty. Education, therefore, helps to reduce inequalities and to reach gender equality. It also empowers people everywhere to live more healthy and sustainable lives. Education is also crucial to fostering tolerance between people and contributes to more peaceful societies.

Obtaining a quality education is the foundation for improving people’s lives and sustainable development. Major progress has been made towards increasing access to education at all levels and increasing enrolment rates in schools, particularly for women and girls. Basic literacy skills have improved tremendously, yet bolder efforts are needed to make even greater strides for achieving universal education goals. For example, the world has achieved equality in primary education between girls and boys, but few countries have achieved that target at all levels of education.

Crescent Relief: Education Services

One of the distinctive features of Crescent Relief is the promotion and provision of education. Formal & informal education, Teacher’s training, Recreational activities, Health & hygiene campaigns, Psycho-social counselling are also part of our program.

School Supplies: There is a substantial number of unfortunate students whose families can’t bear the cost of school uniform, bags, books, shoes, and other school supplies for them. Let’s provide school supplies to these underprivileged youngsters.

School Buildings: Building better schools is key to building a great nation. There are many schools without proper buildings. Let’s provide a roof to the students who are studying under the open skies in all weather.

Street Children: This project provides street children with formal & informal education. Our aim to provide them maximum education and necessary skills so they can be better and productive citizens.

Primary Education Scholarships: Education is one of the basic tools to break the cycle of poverty. We provide monthly scholarships to talented students who cannot afford an education otherwise. We expect our donors to support their sponsored child until he/she completes year 10. Donors can continue to support the same student under our Higher Education program.

Higher Education Scholarships: Monthly scholarships are offered to students from intermediate, Graduation/Post Graduation, Engineering and Medical students. Once they complete education, We expect them to pay it back by sponsoring other deserving students. For our donors, this is the best way to pay back the country which provided them the education.
