Reason:

The current crisis due to COVID19 has left hundreds and thousands of people with little or no work at all. The situation is even more alarming in the developing countries in Asia, Africa and Middle-East where a significant percentage of the community lives below the poverty line. In these circumstances, we cannot leave those little children crying for food and helpless parents not being able to do anything for them but to cry on their plight. This is the moment when we have to stand up and hold their hands. Let us share from the blessings of Allah swt that He has given us. Let’s join hands to put food on the tables of those whose prayers we very much need and whose rights Allah swt has put in our wealth. Join us for the 25,000 meals project this Ramadan and accumulate invaluable sadaqa jariyyah, inshaAllah.

Reward:

This month is honored and good deeds performed in this month are more blessed than they are at any other time in the year. What would be a better time than this to invest in our hereafter. Who amongst us is ready to answer the call of our Creator when He asks: “Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan, so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward?” [Quran 57:11]. What we spend in the way of Allah comes back to us multiplied. Our Rabb tells us: “The likeness of those who spend their money for Allah’s sake, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, every single ear has a hundred grains, and Allah swt multiplies [the reward] for whoever He wills, and Allah swt is All-Sufficient for His creatures needs, All Knower.'[Quran 2: 261]

Let us avail this wonderful opportunity to invest during the month of Ramadan when our deeds are being multiplied manifolds. Let us strive to get our sins forgiven by loving the humanity. Let us show the world that we are the people our beloved messenger ﷺ. May Allah swt give us his companionship in the hereafter and May He enable us follow his noble footsteps.
